s READ MOREClean lines are a dominant presence in many modern homes, so it stands to reason that our pets should be surrounded by equally savvy design choices. The latest collection of cubic dog accessories from Japanese designers Nendo subscribes to the same theory.
Their four new neutral-hued pieces—toy, house, food bowl and ball—fit effortlessly into the home, and true to previous form, are thoughtfully functional too.
Each item is clever and concise and all are a welcome respite from the usual saccharine goods prevalent in most pet stores. A dog house is comprised of two cubes that zip together to form a hut or collapse together to form a bed, and a square dog bowl sits seamlessly alongside matching pot plants. There’s also a bell-filled dog toy that unfolds like a Rubik’s Cube and a pastel round ball punctuated with square holes for treats, to make playtime a delicious adventure.
