Art is an excellent muse. A creative battleground where ideas take flight, colours are born and our perceptions of the world are challenged, augmented, flipped and made fresh again. It’s no surprise The Painter’s Wife turns to art and its icons for inspiration when approaching a new collection.
The summertime collection consists of two eye-catching lines: Imi, in tribute to German artist Imi Knoebel and his distinctive use of colour; and Rose, a walking collection inspired by British painter Rose Wylie and her exuberant aesthetic.
With bodysuits and t-shirts in colours such as cheddar, pink and turquoise, Imi celebrates premium organic cotton, designed to embrace each hound’s playful spirit. The Rose walking collection is made for summer adventures and exuberance aplenty. Easy to clean and built to weather rough and tumble, Rose collars, leashes and harnesses use flex-poly straps and sturdy hardware that are water, dirt and odour resistant. With adjustable neck and chest straps—and three points to easily attach the leash—the ‘sturdy and squishy’ Rose harness is for dogs who are serious about off-road adventure, as well as urban-dwellers on their morning walk.
A spirit-lifting collision of shades, Imi and Rose are designed to mix, match and complement each other, perfect for a season full of technicolour, carefree roaming.
