s READ MOREGiving something old a new lease on life makes us feel warm inside. But what if it made us—or our dogs—warm on the outside, too? Cloud7’s new Eco Down is just the thing. Made from recycled PET bottles, the fluffy filling gives a waste material new purpose while keeping pups snug.
The Eco Down collection includes a dog mat, sleeping bag, dog carrier, treat bag and dog coat. Functional and beautiful, each item maintains a classic aesthetic in a range of neutral colours, such as dusty rose, olive and camel. The aptly named Alaska coat will warm your dog on even the most wintry of walks, and the water-repellent Aspen mat can provide comfort indoors or out—just stuff it into the handy toggle bag and go. Attach the cushioned treat bag and you can be on the move without breaking any biscuits.
The planet-friendly material is machine-washable, and puffs back out if you chuck a tennis ball in with it. But Cloud7 is no stranger to thinking sustainably: in 2013 they received an Eco Excellence Award for their Sleepy dog bed and its recycled and organic tweed cover. Since then, they’ve added other products made from conscious materials, such as organic cotton mattress covers, recycled wool toys and vegetable tanned leather leashes.
Cloud7 leaves a lighter environmental footprint with Eco Down, but makes big strides in pup comfort. That’s something we can all feel warm about.
