STEAL MY THUNDER

How many times have you given your dog’s apparel an envious side-eye, wishing it came in your size? Now you can co-ord with your canine with MiaCara’s new range of coats for dogs and humans. Built for sidewalk strutting or hiking in the hills, everyone is protected from the elements in understated style. Franca is a fitted A-line softshell waterproof anorak for women, complete with microfleece lining and deep pockets. Hidden details like stowaway inner cuffs with thumbholes, detachable hood, reflective piping and, your buddy’s favourite addition, a detachable pocket treat bag only enhance its functionality.

For the pups, softshell coat, Sophia, and winter-warmer, Stefano, are custom made with high-tech material that’s waterproof and windproof with breathable microfleece lining, perfect for the breeziest autumnal day or the harshest of blizzards. Tummy flap and adjustable belt allows extra cosiness, whilst elasticated leg loops make sure everything stays snug. Stefano brings extra protection from harsher weather with a fast-drying exterior and quilted interior. Available in ten sizes, there’s a perfectly comfortable fit for every four-legged friend. Each coat comes in slate, nude or dusty green. As they say, whatever the weather.

PACK OF DOGS

Have you ever imagined Amy Winehouse or Nick Cave as a Chihuahua, Neil Young as a Vizsla, or PJ Harvey as an Afghan hound? That’s exactly what San Francisco-based artist Michael Gillette has done through his unique illustration project, blending beloved, iconic music legends, both past and present, with their dog counterparts. Pack of Dogs, our first foray into book publishing, is a celebration of pup and pop culture for music and dog lovers alike.

THE DOG MAKER

Thanks to hungry wolves and ancient humans, there are over 350 dog breeds in the world today. Artist Hosung Jang offers more.

LITTLE WONDERS

Clean-lined, minimal and irresistibly cute, Odile Ferraille depicts dogs living their best, carefree lives.

MUTUAL ADMIRATION

London-based illustrator Ashley Percival creates colourful prints full of energy and charged with imagination.

LET LOOSE

For his series ‘Compositions and Attitudes’ photographer Hosung Jang captures dogs’ unadulterated curiosity.
