If Stockholm wasn’t scenic enough already, the city just stepped it up a notch. Now you can take in picturesque canals with a side of the world’s best pet photography. The Pet Show exhibition at Fotographiska, the city’s centre for contemporary photography, showcases Four&Sons’ favourites Carli Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Hellen van Meene, Lisa Strömbeck, Martin Usborne, Robert Bahou, Robin Schwartz, Sophie Gamand, Tim Flach, William Wegman and Winnie Au, as well as new and emerging artists we’re thrilled to discover.
The exhibition is a paean to pets and their place in our hearts and our history, and their significance in art and culture through the centuries. Twenty-seven artists and more than 140 works blending documentary photography, portraits and everything in between distil what we love best about dogs: their live-for-the-moment nature, endlessly entertaining quirks and pure expressions of love, confusion, sass and joy. With heart-piercing beauty and refreshing levity, The Pet Show celebrates animals for what they are: beloved works of art.
We are thrilled to introduce Dog-Friendly, a collection of city guides for dog-loving people, created together with our long-time contributor, photographer Winnie Au, and fellow enthusiasts, indie publisher Hoxton Mini Press. Available for purchase here.

Have you ever imagined Amy Winehouse or Nick Cave as a Chihuahua, Neil Young as a Vizsla, or PJ Harvey as an Afghan hound? That’s exactly what San Francisco-based artist Michael Gillette has done through his unique illustration project, blending beloved, iconic music legends, both past and present, with their dog counterparts. Pack of Dogs, our first foray into book publishing, is a celebration of pup and pop culture for music and dog lovers alike.
