‘Producing our articles in Italy means endowing the object’s core with all the cultural heritage, taste, beauty and lifestyle that our country represents in the world.’
2.8 handcrafted collection—elegant with a punch of personality—is as easy on the eyes as it is your pup’s comfort. The full line includes beds, blankets, bowls, collars and leads, all filtered by founder, photographer and creative director Anna Bussolottor’s philosophy, sharply pointed at two principles: “the dog’s well-being combined with the owner’s satisfaction.” All goods are made locally in Italy, with time-honoured textiles, like Casentino, a legendary wool dating back to the Renaissance period, being mixed with sustainable materials, like plant-based jute. “Looking for the best-performing material never ends,” says Bussolotto.
Why we love 2.8
Anna Bussolotto designs for the senses: the scent of Nappa leather, the cozy tactility of bouclé wool, and the visually pleasing pattern of honeycomb cotton fulfil both aspects of the 2.8 ethos. Furthermore, 2.8 not only sources from ethical purveyors, they also plan to create a parallel, vegan-friendly collection.
