SIR DOGWOOD
’Sir Dogwood came about because I was frustrated with the limited amount of sophisticated, well-designed and modern dog-wear available’.
’Sir Dogwood came about because I was frustrated with the limited amount of sophisticated, well-designed and modern dog-wear available’.
Sir Dogwood stocks clothes you’ll want to wear yourself. Their chambray shirt, ombre sweatshirt, and cashmere sweaters would boost any human wardrobe, but they only come in one size: dog. Founder Chaz Olajide admits putting “just as much (actually, probably much more!) care in curating the pieces I select for Sir Dogwood as I do with my own wardrobe!” and her line-up of brands is proof of that. Thanks to Sir Dogwood, striped onesies by Seoul-based Dentists Appointment, bowls by Johannesburg label Benji+Moon, and even a ‘gentle giant’ line from Minneapolis’s Dog Threads, are just a click away.
Why we love Sir Dogwood
Not only does Olajide pull together some of the globe’s best labels, but she also collaborates with local makers in her hometown of Chicago to make new stuff. The latest? A line of African-print Dutch wax bow ties with Peter Gaona of the socially conscious label ReformedSchool.
